Dark Ascension Pre-Release

Where: Upstairs function room in The Mitre
When: Sunday 29th January. Doors open 10am, Registration 10-11, start 11am

Main Event

Cost: £22
Format: Sealed deck (3 boosters of Innistrad and 3 boosters of Dark Ascension)

We will run a number of rounds depending on the number of participants. (Most likely 6 rounds of 50 minutes.) There will be no cut to a top 8.

There will not be an official break for lunch. Food can be ordered at the downstairs bar and eaten in the function room.

Two-Headed Giant

Cost: £30
Prize Support: 3 boosters/team

Following the main event, there will be a Two-Headed Giant tournament. This is a team event, for teams of 2 people. Each team will receive 8 boosters (4 Innistrad and 4 Dark Ascension) with which you will build two decks.

Raffle prizes include a From the Vaults:Legends set and a Graveborn Premium deck.

Note that I will be not be running side event drafts at the Pre-Release. Save your booster prizes if you want to draft!

The Mitre
High Street, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX1 4AG

There is no car parking near the venue. If you are coming from outside Oxford, I suggest parking in one of the Park-and-Rides and taking a bus. The Mitre is right in the centre of Oxford, a very short walk from the bust stop.

The room is upstairs, and unsuitable for disabled access. If this is going to be a problem, please let me know in advance so I can sort out a downstairs table.
